NHRA qualifying video from Route 66 – This is Capp’s first No. 1 of the season and 15th of his career. He won this event in 2005. He currently holds the No. 7 position in the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. This is Morgan’s first No. 1 qualifying position in the season and ninth in his career. He has yet to win at the Chicago event. This is Edwards’ 10th No. 1 of the season and 51st of his career. With this run, Edwards’ is the new track record holder. He is currently the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series points leader. This is Smith’s second No. 1 of the season and 20th of his career. He is currently sixth in the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series points standing.
