NHRA qualifying video from Route 66 – This is Capp’s first No. 1 of the season and 15th of his career. He won this event in 2005. He currently holds the No. 7 position in the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. This is Morgan’s first No. 1 qualifying position in the season and ninth in his career. He has yet to win at the Chicago event. This is Edwards’ 10th No. 1 of the season and 51st of his career. With this run, Edwards’ is the new track record holder. He is currently the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series points leader. This is Smith’s second No. 1 of the season and 20th of his career. He is currently sixth in the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series points standing.

He has won at the Chicago event three times. He currently holds the No. 5 position in the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. If he holds onto the No. 1 spot, it will be the 10th No. 1 of the season and 51st of his career. He has won at the Chicago event two times. Pollacheck ran his best run in only one round of qualifying due to rain delay on Friday. If he holds onto the No. 1 spot, it will be his first No. 1 of the season and first of his career.

One of the craziest turbo cars to pull up to the line at KOTS, it may not have been the quickest car at the race but MAN was it impressive to see this heavy chunk of metal flying down the track! The track surface wasn’t quite working for the car, but that didn’t stop the driver from pushing it down the track, the last grudge race in the video shows how spinning can sometimes mean winning. by 1320video
