He currently holds the No. 7 position in the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. This is Morgan’s first No. 1 qualifying position in the season and ninth in his career. He has yet to win at the Chicago event. This is Edwards’ 10th No. 1 of the season and 51st of his career. With this run, Edwards’ is the new track record holder.
